Transformed Through the Journey: A Year-End Reflection

As we come to the close of this blessed year, we reflect on our theme: Transformed: Transformed through the Journey. We give thanks to God for guiding us through each step, celebrating the growth and blessings we've experienced together.

This year has been a journey of transformation. We've learned that the transformation in our Christian walk with God is essential for our spiritual growth and development. When we accept Jesus into our lives, we become new creations, given the opportunity to become all that God has created us to be. Through this journey, we've been reminded that we must be willing to be transformed by God’s Word, living according to His will, and allowing Him to shape us into the people He wants us to be.

Our transformation has made us more compassionate and loving, more patient and understanding, more humble and forgiving. This ongoing process is essential for us to become the best versions of ourselves and to live a life that is pleasing to God.

As we focused on being TRANSFORMED THROUGH THE JOURNEY this year, we remained steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord. We recognized that transformation is a continuous process. I am being transformed, as you are being transformed. Together, we've had the courage to work for CHANGE, found rest for our SOULS in God, embraced Christ-centered AUTHENTICITY, and discovered our SELF-WORTH in Christ. We learned to exhale DOUBT by breathing faith, understanding that FAILURE teaches us that the RISK is worth it. Through spiritual EMPOWERMENT, we are leaving a LEGACY. We've cultivated RESILIENCE, knowing that POSITIVITY is a choice.

Here's to a transformational 2023! May God bless each one of you as we continue on this journey together. Let us follow the example set by the Apostles: preaching, teaching, fellowship, and prayer.

May our journey ahead be filled with continued transformation and the abundant blessings of God.

With gratitude and hope.

In Christ,
Pastor Samuel Bailey Wilson, III
