Becoming Who You Were Meant to Be

As Christians, we are called to become who we were meant to be according to Ephesians 4:22-24. This is a difficult task and it is important that we understand the three main points that will help us in our journey towards becoming our true selves.

We must put away our old ways and leave them behind us. Ephesians 4:22 encourages us to throw off our old self and be renewed in the spirit of our minds. This means that we must be willing to let go of the wrongs that we have done and move forward with new ways of thinking and acting.

We must become aware of the spiritual gifts that God has instilled in us. Ephesians 4:23 states that we must be renewed in the spirit of our minds, and this includes recognizing the gifts that God has given us. We must be intentional in using these gifts to make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others.

We must recognize that it is God's will for us to live a life that is pleasing to him. Ephesians 4:24 says that we must put on the new self, which is created after God in true righteousness and holiness. We must be aware that this is God's will for us and strive to live our lives in a way that brings glory to him.

Becoming who we were meant to be is a difficult task, but also a rewarding one. By following the three points discussed today, we can be confident that we are taking the steps towards becoming our true selves. May God bless us as we strive to become who we were meant to be according to Ephesians 4:22-24.
